The RugBadger / Area Rug Cleaning System

Let Langenwalter clean and protect your investment.  Oriental and area rugs are cleaned with the RugBadger.  The RugBadger is a powerful, portable machine designed to deliver 40,000+ penetrating harmonic vibrations per minute, deep into the back of the rug.  It shakes loose any dry, heavy, damaging soil and sediments trapped both in the foundation and in between the rug fibers.

Step 1: Inspection
Our trained technicians will carefully hand inspect for color bleeding, tears, holes, dye fading, abrasions and pet contamination. All of this information is documented on our Area Rug Cleaning Inspection Sheet before the cleaning process begins. 

Step 2: RugBadger System
This exclusive process removes all of the embedded particles before cleaning, including dirt, dust, sand, allergens and hair. Each area rug is then thoroughly vacuumed front and back prior to steam cleaning.

Step 3: Washing
Each area rug is steam cleaned one at a time with the appropriate method for your particular area rug including fringe edges.

Step 4: Rinse & Dry
All excess moisture is extracted and a rinse is applied to return the area rug fibers to their natural state. Area rugs are then dried, in a state-of-the-art drying facility using air circulation. Every area rug is completely dry before final inspection.

Step 5: Final Inspection
As a last step, each area rug is again inspected to make sure that it’s thoroughly cleaned and completely dry.  It is then rolled and placed in protective packaging before being returned.
